Women's Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to build up and encourage the women in the body of Christ. This is accomplished through:
We meet every Friday morning at 10am in the Sanctuary at Calvary Chapel of Rochester. Child care is provided.
Please note that our meetings will be cancelled during the Summer 2010 but will resume in September 2010.
During the Summer of 2010, we will be gathering for prayer on the 3rd Friday of every month.

There is also a Ladies Prayer Group that meets at Linda Brede's home the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Sorry! No child care is provided.

Women's Weekly Devotional by Linda Brede
"But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him." Psalm 4:3
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit indwells us. The Holy Spirit also shows us that we are righteous not by anything we have done but what Jesus did for us on the cross. We are robed in His righteousness. We are children of God. We are set apart for His purpose.
The Lord Jesus does hear when we call upon Him. The enemy is always right there to say He doesn't hear you, He doesn't care about your needs or what is on your heart.
But our Heavenly Father does hear us and cares for each and every one of us. We might not get the answer we want from Him, but He does answer our prayers. As we praise Him and seek His face our hearts will come together and we will pray according to His heart.
Psalm 66:20 "Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me."
John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
We have a wonderful loving Savior who is interceding for us before the Father. He does hear our prayers, and He will answer.
